FAQS

I help brands create storytelling-driven photo and video content for multiple channels (email, social, website, etc.). Specifically, I art direct and produce photoshoots with a network of talented creatives to deliver on-brand photo & video assets that connect with customers and further the brand story.
-
First, I meet with the brand to understand the ethos of the brand, the overall aesthetics, the target customer, the product, the story we want to tell, and where the assets will be used. Then, I put together an art direction plan, complete with overall mood, lighting, locations, casting, and talent. Once the brand reviews and signs off, I dive into producing the shoot. The brand can be as involved or as hands-off as they would like from this point. I’ll assemble the team, do the casting, and direct the shoot and post-production, and deliver final photo and video assets to the brand along with the invoice. They whole process is typically 3-4 weeks.

Primarily in New York City, but sometimes farther flung places. I have a mix of scouted locations around the city, rental locations that won’t break the bank, and often shoot in the subject’s spaces.

People with interesting stories, careers, ideas, and style. Sometimes they are employees, sometimes they are models, and sometimes they are people I found on Instagram. Most importantly, we celebrate who they are and tell the brand story through the lens of their personal story.
-

Brands get full digital usage on all assets, so they can be used on any channel. I work closely with clients to understand their content needs and goals and tailor assets to their top channels. My specialty is capturing assets that perform across channels and maximizing what we can get in a day in terms of usability for the brand and performance.

In-house teams are juggling A LOT. There’s so much content to produce and keep up with in the current marketing landscape, and producing even one shoot takes a lot of time and effort from multiple team members. Brands need more content today than they have time to capture, so I help them capture more without adding to their workload. With 10+ years of experience, brands are getting the benefit of an experienced creative director without adding to their headcount.

Influencer content is great for getting new eyeballs from an influencers’ audiences, but it doesn’t always perform well on brand-owned channels and the creative can dilute the overall brand aesthetics. I help brands elevate their aesthetic and tell the product and brands stories they need to tell to hit their sales and marketing goals.
-
I work specifically with small to medium brands who are value-based, typically founder led, and have small, but mighty teams. Agencies can be pricey and often mark things up for their margins, pricing out smaller brands quickly. I aim to offer exception execution at a reasonable price for smaller brands so they can have stellar content to tell their story without the heavy markup.
